The Knock Back is a friendly neighborhood cocktail bar in NE Portland’s popular Alberta Arts District, celebrated for its approachable drinks and atmosphere since 2013. After a two-year pandemic hiatus, The Knock Back reopened in summer 2022 under new ownership - the beloved bar team of another Alberta Street favorite hangout - Donnie Vegas. The beautifully updated interior features banquette seating and communal tables, ‘living wall’ inspired art by Castine Dow and a mural by Eatcho. Outdoors we also have a dog-friendly, covered patio with heaters and a year-round fire pit.

We have a rotating menu of fun cocktails on tap, frozen drinks, an ever evolving craft beer list, zero-proof drinks and champagne for when you’re feeling fancy. Our from-scratch kitchen serves sandwiches, salads and bar snacks with plenty of vegan and gluten free options.
